Attorney Advertising, Legal Notices & Disclaimers
Please read these notices together with the firm's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use before relying on anything published here.
Attorney advertising
This website may constitute attorney advertising under the laws and professional responsibility rules of one or more jurisdictions. Nothing on this website is intended to create unjustified expectations regarding results. Prior results, representative matters, transactions, settlements, litigation outcomes, or other examples described on this website do not guarantee, predict, or suggest similar future outcomes.
This website is intended to provide general information about Evans Law, PC ("Evans Law," the "Firm," "we," "our," or "us"), its attorneys, its areas of practice, and legal developments that may be of interest to clients, prospective clients, and members of the public.
No legal advice
The content on this website is provided solely for general informational and educational purposes. Laws change frequently and legal issues are fact-specific. Information that is accurate when published may later become incomplete or outdated. You should consult qualified legal counsel before acting or refraining from acting based on information contained on this website.
Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. Publication of articles, updates, videos, FAQs, downloadable materials, newsletters, or other content does not establish an attorney-client relationship and should not be relied upon as legal advice for any specific matter.
Attorney-client relationship
Viewing this website, communicating with the Firm, submitting information through a contact form, subscribing to communications, or interacting with online tools does not create an attorney-client relationship. Representation begins only after conflicts have been evaluated, the Firm agrees to undertake the matter, the scope of representation is established, and an appropriate written engagement agreement — or other written agreement to commence representation — is in place.
Communications regarding potential representation should not be interpreted as acceptance of an engagement. The Firm may decline representation for any lawful reason, including conflicts of interest, professional obligations, resource limitations, or other considerations.
In many corporate, securities, finance, and transactional matters, Evans Law represents a specific client or legal entity — not every participant in a transaction. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, no individual should assume that the Firm represents his or her personal interests merely because the Firm represents an affiliated entity or participant.
Confidential information
Please do not send confidential, privileged, proprietary, or otherwise sensitive information to Evans Law through this website, by email, or through any online form unless the Firm has confirmed that it is willing and able to consider the proposed representation and has authorized you to provide such information. Information submitted before an attorney-client relationship has been established may not be treated as confidential and may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege. The Firm reserves the right to decline representation after reviewing information submitted by a prospective client.
Unsolicited information may limit the Firm's ability to represent existing or future clients.
Contact forms are provided solely as a convenience for requesting information or an initial consultation. Submission of a contact form does not create an attorney-client relationship, obligate the Firm to review or respond to the submission, or constitute acceptance of any legal matter. Please limit your submission to information reasonably necessary for the Firm to perform an initial conflicts review and determine whether further discussions are appropriate.
Email communications with the Firm, including unsolicited emails, do not create an attorney-client relationship. While the Firm employs reasonable safeguards to protect its communications, email is not guaranteed to be secure. Unless the Firm has agreed to represent you, do not send confidential or time-sensitive information by email or assume that the Firm has received or reviewed any communication.
Technology and artificial intelligence
Evans Law may use artificial intelligence and other technology to improve internal efficiency, organization, legal research, drafting assistance, document review, and administrative workflows. Such technology is used only as a tool to assist attorneys and staff and is never intended to replace independent attorney judgment, professional responsibility, or legal analysis. All legal advice, work product, strategic recommendations, and client communications are subject to appropriate human review before being relied upon or delivered.
The Firm's use of such technology is subject to its obligations of confidentiality and competence under the California Rules of Professional Conduct. The Firm evaluates the confidentiality, data-retention, and security characteristics of any technology before client information is processed through it, and does not use client confidential information to train third-party systems.
From time to time, the Firm may provide AI-assisted intake tools or other automated technologies designed to collect preliminary information from prospective clients. These tools are not attorneys, do not provide legal advice, and cannot establish an attorney-client relationship. Information provided through such tools does not obligate the Firm to accept representation and should not include confidential information unless expressly requested by the Firm after an appropriate conflicts review.
The availability of online scheduling, electronic communications, downloadable materials, newsletters, or other website features should not be interpreted as an offer to provide legal services in every jurisdiction or under every circumstance. The Firm reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any website feature without notice.
Website content and educational materials
The articles, alerts, FAQs, presentations, blog posts, and other educational materials published on this website are intended to provide general legal information. They are not exhaustive discussions of any subject and should not be relied upon as a substitute for obtaining legal advice tailored to a particular matter. Evans Law assumes no obligation to update previously published content to reflect subsequent legal developments.
Any forms, checklists, white papers, guides, sample provisions, or other downloadable materials are provided solely as educational resources. They are not intended to be complete legal documents, may not reflect current law, and may not be suitable for your particular circumstances. Use of any downloadable resource is entirely at your own risk and does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Any videos, webinars, podcasts, presentations, interviews, or other multimedia content produced or shared by the Firm is intended for general educational purposes unless expressly stated otherwise. Statements made in such content reflect the facts and law as understood at the time of publication.
From time to time, the Firm may distribute newsletters, legal updates, alerts, invitations, or other informational communications. Such communications are provided for general informational purposes only, are not legal advice, and do not create an attorney-client relationship. Recipients may unsubscribe from non-mandatory communications in accordance with applicable law.
Representative matters and prior results
Descriptions of representative matters, transactions, negotiations, disputes, or other professional experience are intended to illustrate the nature and breadth of the Firm's practice. They are not intended to describe every aspect of a matter, identify all parties or issues involved, or suggest that the Firm routinely achieves similar outcomes. Confidential information is omitted or modified where appropriate to protect client interests and comply with applicable professional obligations.
Every legal matter depends upon its own facts, governing law, evidence, timing, and numerous other variables. Accordingly, prior successes, favorable settlements, dismissals, transactional achievements, or other accomplishments should not be interpreted as guarantees, warranties, or predictions regarding future results.
Securities, corporate, tax, and financial matters
Nothing on this website constitutes investment advice, tax advice, accounting advice, valuation advice, financial planning advice, or a recommendation to purchase, sell, or hold any security or other financial product. Discussions involving securities laws, business transactions, regulatory matters, taxation, or finance are general in nature and should not be relied upon without obtaining advice from appropriately qualified professionals regarding your specific circumstances.
Third-party websites, directories, ratings and reviews
This website may contain links to websites, platforms, directories, publications, government agencies, courts, professional organizations, service providers, or other resources maintained by third parties. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. Evans Law does not control, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, security, availability, privacy practices, or continued operation of any third-party website. A link does not imply sponsorship, affiliation, approval, or endorsement unless expressly stated otherwise.
Evans Law or its attorneys may be listed, rated, reviewed, recognized, or described by independent legal directories, professional organizations, publications, peer-review services, or other third parties. Any such rating, award, listing, or recognition reflects the methodology, criteria, and judgment of the third party that issued it and should not be interpreted as a guarantee, prediction, or representation regarding the quality or outcome of any future legal matter. The Firm does not represent that any third-party rating or recognition is more important than a prospective client's own evaluation of counsel.
Evans Law does not presently publish client testimonials on this website, but the website may link to third-party platforms or directories that contain reviews, endorsements, comments, or other statements concerning the Firm or its attorneys. Such statements are provided by third parties and do not necessarily reflect the views of Evans Law. The Firm does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, authenticity, or continued availability of third-party reviews.
Jurisdiction, licensure and specialization
Evans Law is based in California, and its attorneys are licensed to practice only in the jurisdictions and before the courts or agencies in which they are admitted. Attorney biographies on this website identify applicable bar admissions and other professional credentials. The availability of this website in any location does not constitute an offer to provide legal services in a jurisdiction in which the Firm or its attorneys are not authorized to practice. In matters involving other jurisdictions, the Firm may associate with or retain appropriately licensed local counsel where permitted and appropriate.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on an attorney biography or other Firm material, no attorney at Evans Law is represented on this website as a certified specialist under the California State Bar's legal specialization program or any comparable certification program. References to an attorney's experience, concentration, focus, or substantial work in a particular area of law are descriptive only and should not be understood as a claim of certified specialization.
Attorney biographies, practice descriptions, admissions, memberships, education, honors, representative matters, and other professional information are provided for general informational purposes. Although the Firm endeavors to keep this information current, professional affiliations, admissions, memberships, titles, recognitions, and other credentials may change over time. Visitors should contact the Firm directly if confirmation of a particular credential or admission is important to a decision regarding representation.
Intellectual property and permitted use
Unless otherwise indicated, the text, design, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, downloadable materials, and other content on this website are owned by or licensed to Evans Law and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing on this website grants any license or right to use the Firm's intellectual property except as expressly permitted by law or with the Firm's prior written consent.
Visitors may view, download, and print limited portions of this website solely for personal, informational, or non-commercial purposes, provided that all copyright and proprietary notices remain intact. No content may be modified, republished, distributed, sold, or exploited for commercial purposes without the Firm's prior written permission.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, no person or entity may use automated means — including bots, crawlers, scrapers, data-mining tools, or artificial intelligence systems — to collect, copy, index, reproduce, train, fine-tune, or create derivative datasets from the content of this website without the Firm's prior written authorization. Unauthorized automated collection or commercial reuse of website content is expressly prohibited. This restriction is in addition to, and not limited by, any machine-readable directives published by the Firm.
